Your data, in plain language.

To make FlareIQ useful, we collect only what you give us:

• Account info: your name and email.
• Daily check-ins: mood, energy, sleep, symptoms, flare status, treatments, foods, and free-text notes you choose to enter.
• Optional: menstrual cycle dates (only if you turn cycle tracking on), and approximate location used to auto-capture local weather.
• Chat history with the FlareIQ AI companion.

Your data powers your own experience — nothing else:

• To show you your history, calendar, and trend charts.
• To give the AI companion context so it can answer questions about your patterns.
• To send the reminder email you opt into.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it to train third-party AI models.

Your data is stored on Lovable Cloud (Supabase) infrastructure, encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. Row-level security policies enforce that only your account can read your records.

• You — always.
• Family members you share an account with — only the member profiles you've added.
• FlareIQ administrators — only when needed for support or to keep the service running. We never read your logs for fun.
• The AI provider (Google Gemini via Lovable AI Gateway) — receives the message you send plus the last 21 days of your logs as context, only for the duration of generating a reply. It is not used to train the underlying model.

We keep your data as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from your Profile page — when you do, your logs, chats, and account are permanently removed within 30 days.

You can:

• View, edit, or delete any of your daily logs from the History page.
• Delete your entire account and all associated data from your Profile.
• Email us at hello@myflareiq.com to request a copy of your data.

FlareIQ is not directed to children under 13. If you're tracking on behalf of a child, you do so as their parent or guardian and consent to the storage of their health information for that purpose.

FlareIQ is a wellness tool, not a medical record system. We are not a HIPAA-covered entity. Do not enter information you would not be comfortable seeing in a wellness app. If you need a clinical record, use one provided by your healthcare provider.

If we update this notice, we'll change the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, let you know in the app.
